I have never looked back and for me it is an invaluable tool. Pages load faster, they don&#8217;t hang, I am not subjected to the strobelike effect that so many ads now employ and, lastly, I can&#8217;t help but think that I am helping to do my part to &#8216;green&#8217; the internet. By cutting back on ads you are not only decreasing bandwidth loads you are forcing advertisers to rethink their strategies and helping highlight the importance of high quality writers, photographers, videographers, etc. If you want to see where advertising is headed take a look at my previous post.
